  *PC has to dial via phone line to dial-up

-ISDN(Intergrated Service Digital Network)

  *Typically uses two phone lines to transfer data
   *ISDN requires a special ISDN modem

ADVANTAGES	DISADVANTAGES
include inexpensive hardware	slow connection speed
ease of set up and use	inconvenience
provide the user with convenience of using account	telephone line will be tied up while accesing Internet
